U.S. Cyber Challenge Presents at Tomorrow’s DHS 2014 Cyber Security Division R&D Showcase
Arlington, VA, December 15, 2014 – Tomorrow, the National Director of U.S. Cyber Challenge (USCC), Karen S. Evans, will present at the Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate (DHS S&T) Cyber Security Division R&D Showcase in Washington, DC.
The USCC presentation is one of eleven (11) featured presentations detailing innovative technologies selected from the DHS S&T Cyber Security Division portfolio. Each of these programs and technologies are integral to solving today’s complex cybersecurity challenges.
National Director Karen Evans will provide background information on the foundation and development of the program’s workforce development activities, as well as outline the anticipated future growth and development of the program, which includes an online social network portal named CyberCompEx. In preparation for a new roll-out of the website this coming spring 2015, capabilities of the portal will be demonstrated.
The event is open to the media.
